Drop In Centre

Our new weekly timetable giving details of our Drop In sessions and activities is shown below. At times when activities are taking place away from Belmont House, the Drop In may be unstaffed. In the event of any urgent queries, please ring  01205 360900 and leave a message. A Project Worker will respond to your query as soon as possible.

The morning drop-ins are available to all individuals requiring guidance and support, although spaces are limited.

Our services include:

  • Rough Sleeper facilities – food, shower facilities, change/washing of personal clothing, phone charging, c/o address facility for official mail, sleeping bags
  • Food Parcels – we provide emergency food parcels for people who find themselves in a situation where they are unable to afford to buy food.
  • Provision of furniture and household goods -starter packs to those on low incomes who are setting up home as part of our collection and redistribution project.
  • Provision of guidance and support to those affected by homelessness, relationship breakdown, debt issues, substance misuse, unemployment, social isolation and related issues.
  • Referral to appropriate partnership agencies for specialist support.
  • Daily activity sessions to learn new skills and encourage social networking.
  • One to one working with clients to empower them to bring about positive change in their lives

Collection and Re-distribution project

Our driver, supported by volunteers, collects and redistributes second-hand furniture and household items to those in need within a 10-mile radius of Boston.

PLEASE NOTE:  We are only able to collect items which are clean and in a good state of repair. 

If you are setting up home and on a low income, call into the Drop In Centre and ask to speak with a Project Worker to discuss your needs. We are usually able to help with many of the most essential items. A nominal payment is required to help with our costs of providing this service including a delivery charge. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a choice of colour or style of any specific items. It just depends on what we have in stock.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to supply any items to landlords or other commercial undertakings.

Rough sleeping in Boston

We are delighted to work in partnership with Boston Borough Council and other agencies with the aim of ending rough sleeping in Boston.

Members of the Council’s Rough Sleeping Intervention Team hold a weekly hub session in our Drop In on Monday mornings to support clients who are sleeping rough.
